High Aspect Wings
Design
Computer designed with a thin foil section, these high aspect wings pack a lot of performance! High aspect wings have found great use in the foil world to enable crazy glides and infinite pumps. The name of the game is thin and skinny with slight anhedral . The universal slot machined into the mounting center make it easy to adapt these wings onto most fuselages on the market. A gentle anhedral curve helps to keep the wing tips lower while still maximizing lifting surface area.
Details
All wing cores are precision CNC cut from hardwood ply. This particular core material has proven to be a great balance of strength, weight, and price. Every wing has a layer of fiberglass and epoxy which allows the trailing edge to be machined extremely thin... exactly how it should be.
